When the crowds began to fill up the building, I begged Beth to move me.
I asked Beth to put me up high, where it was safe. I wanted to sit on Lincoln's hand. I wanted to watch all the people below. I wondered what Lincoln would think of these crowds, who had come to see him. But Beth couldn't reach.
