Little Bear's Adventures
A Kite in the Sand Kites are supposed to be in the sky. This kite was stubborn. It wouldn't fly. I wanted to tie myself to the tail and go for a ride. So I sat on the kite instead. I was honored to sit on this kite that didn't know how to fly. This kite had a better job. Its job was to announce that a new baby will be coming into this world! Beth will be a grandma. What will I be? A cousin? I had to sit on a piece of driftwood and ponder this a while. I hope Jamie and Heidi let me pose in Baby Hurst's soft little hand! I know she is going to be a very cute little baby!

Flowers and Sticks Beth brought some driftwood back from the beach. She let me help build a little display... and then I displayed myself in it. Yay! I added some flowers!
Stopping to Rest I'm glad Beth took a break on our hike. I got to climb onto this prickly, vine-y thing! I asked Beth to give a push, so I could swing. She said no. She reminded me of all the times she has lost me on trips. Once, Beth spent 60 minutes searching for me, when I fell off a wall in Chile. I guess it would have been hard to find me in all the growth. Not Lost I'm so glad Beth didn't lose me on the Pacific Crest Trail. But I sure wish she remembered to pose me, sitting on the sign. I like having proof that I was there!
