Market in Bangkok Beth just had to buy these tiny donuts at the market in Bangkok. She said they were the tiniest donuts she'd ever seem. She said they were just my size.
But that makes no sense. If I used one like a life preserver, I'd fall through. Those donuts are not tiny to me. Kind of Tiny  I guess when you look at Don's hand, holding the donut tray you can see how small these donuts were. Don could practically wear those donuts like sticky rings on his fingers. How Did They Taste?
The donuts weren't so yummy. We didn't finish them. Maybe next time we'll be more adventurous at the market!

Coffee Cup  Beth doesn't usually use a saucer when she has coffee at home. Now saucers are my favorite thing. I warmed my back and enjoyed the coffee smell.
This was my favorite hotel in Thailand. Beth needs to start paying more attention to breakfast. It's my favorite meal for relaxing!
Beautiful Gold Statues  It was very peaceful, visiting the Temple. Ii was quiet and I tried to be respectful.  I just rested on the knee of one of the 3 monks and watched the visitors remove their shoes to enter the Temple. I wish I could have stayed forever.
I hope that was okay. Exotic Fruits and Exotic Shadows  These fruits in Thailand are almost scary looking. But I like their very curious looking shadows! Resting With Fruits  Beth says these fruits actually taste good. But I decided I would just lounge with them, instead.
Luckily, nobody got confused and tried to eat me. A Beach Near Krabi, Thailand  When you scuba dive, they tell you not to touch the coral. Coral is very special. Then why did Beth put me on this coral? Lucky  She said I am lucky because I don't weigh much and I couldn't possibly cause damage.  She also said I was lucky because I could sit on the coral without feeling any pain. Beth did not sit on any of the coral. Hiking at Low Tide Since it was low tide, we did a little hiking. We tried to reach a rocky island. Beth complained the whole way because her bare feet didn't like the rocks and coral.
If she had been my size she could have leapt from coral to coral or rock to rock. Poor Beth. She will never be tiny like me. Green!  Have you ever seen anything so lovely and smooth and green? These papayas were growing in the garden outside the Temple's house, when we visited in January. Sitting All Day  I could sit here all day and watch the garden. There are orchids and birds and even a cat who roams. But really I just wish someone would cut a papaya open and give me some. They are much tastier than papayas we get in Texas!
Saturday in Bangkok  Shopping at the Floating Market was fun, but hot. I needed a cool coconut drink. Floating Market I liked my refreshing treat, but I really wanted to climb on one of those market boats.
Beth said I wasn't allowed. Instead she bought me my own boat... just my size! Not Fooled!  This is a cute boat with tiny fake fruits and veggies. But I am not tricked into believing that Beth bought this for me. I happen to know she likes tiny things.
Which is lucky for me! A Sea Creature?  It was very early in the morning when we walked on the quiet beach. This funny little blossom looked like a creature at first, but it came from a tee. So Different  The tide was out, so the sand was a little dirty. I decided I'd sit on the pretty white flower instead. It was peaceful. I did a little yoga.
Midnight in Bankok!  I traveled with Beth and her family to Thailand and now it's a New Year! 11 Hours Ahead!  While Beth's family celebrated with champagne in the home of her son's new inlaws... their friends back in Texas were probably having lunch and thinking about their New Year's Eve plans. First! It was fun cheering in the New Year, long before everyone else we know. I like being first.
In fact this is the first time I've been to Thailand, so I'm enjoying lots of firsts.
My New Year's Resolution is to have lots more First Time Experiences!! Christmas Eve in Bangkok This is not a Christmas tree. But I'll always remember it as my Christmas Orchid.  The photo was taken on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We had arrived at 2 am on Christmas Eve morning to the Temple's home in Bangkok. We slept a few hours and got up for a morning Thai Wedding Ceremony. You Won't See Me Here  Nope, I didn't sneak into a photo. Beth didn't even think about me during this special ceremony between Scott and Chali. Orchid Farm  By afternoon, we were all tired, but we kept going. We took a canal tour around the Temples neighborhood. We stopped at an orchid farm. Off Season  There weren't too many orchids in December, but I found one to pose with. That cheered me up and gave me some energy till bedtime. I dreamed of Christmas and beautiful Thai flowers!
