Ms. Donkey and Me... With Dolls  Yesterday, Ms. Donkey and I woke in Amarillo, Texas. Today we woke in Santa Fe! I love road trips! Dolls?
Santa Fe is very colorful. Our hotel room was very colorful. It was also pretty weird. There were a lot of dolls in that hotel guest room and their eyes were open all night long. Time to move on!
A Tiny Pie  I love this picture of me on top of Caramel-Apple Pie! It's hard to tell from the photo, but this pie is very small. I am a 2-inch bear and I love that all the pies at "Gatherin' Place" are more my size. A Little Detour
Beth and Don took me along on their road trip from Texas to California. Sometimes they get off course a little bit and this time they had a really good reason. It had to do with pie  It was a good detour to Pie Town. There's not much there besides pie, but I'm glad we stopped!
Early Morning  A week ago, I visited this 1,000 year old community early in the morning. There aren't very many who still live in the pueblo. It was hard to believe anyone was really inside this adobe structure. Dogs  The dogs were just waking up. Smoke  And I did see a chimney through the opening of the church wall...with signs of life. History  It was so peaceful at this early hour...thinking. A lot of things haven't changed much in 1000 years. There is still no running water or electricity within the Pueblo walls. But I wish I could have visited maybe 55 years ago, to see a morning filled with activity.
