Little Bear's Adventures
Route 66 We've been on a road trip in Missouri. My favorite part was traveling on the old Route 66. We made a stop to see an old bridge and this we what I found. Beth and I were excited about the zigzag shape that crossed the width of the bridge. Beth's hubby Don, was more excited. "Take a picture of that!" he said. "That's an expansion joint." So of course Beth stuck me in the photo. That was fun!

Egg Dye I like the soft pastel colors of Easter. The egg dye looks so dark! I liked my view of the colors, from sitting high on the white egg. Maybe that wasn't a smart place to sit. Luckily I didn't slide down that rounded white egg and land in the dye. Beth's Photos Beth took photos with her cell phone. I kept an eye on her, because she can be a little sloppy sometimes. I looked up at Beth with that phone of hers. She used to use her big clunky camera. She has gotten so lazy and she doesn't look so cool with that phone.
Happy Easter! Springfield, Missouri We are staying in Springfield for a few days. We're in a rental house that doesn't have any Easter decorations. Luckily Beth packed up a few things. She put them out on the kitchen table. We're visiting Beth's dad, so she brought along a little bunny that once belonged to him.
I am not the oldest thing on this table anymore! April in Texas Here is a portrait of me. I look comfy and cozy, in my soft bed of oak blossoms! Yucky I'm the only one in Texas who likes these spongy things, that fall from the Live Oaks every April. Most people think they're yucky. The blossoms cover sidewalks and clog pool drains. The wind swirls them into big piles. While everyone sneezes, I climb the blossom mountains and have a good time. Happy Spring!
Surprises in the Lawn Look what I found, rising high in the grass! Beth complains that the grass needs to be mowed. But the grass isn't nearly as high as the flowers I found! Vases Beth said most people would calls these weeds. She agreed that they are worthy of vases. Very small vases. We picked them quickly before that mower cut them down!
