Little Bear's Adventure's
Big Bend National Park The first time I was in Big Bend it was April and I did some posing with the wildlife. It was also about 100 degrees! In this photo I look like I'm posing with frozen toothpicks! Cactus But it's January now and even the cactus is coated in a layer of ice! It's very tricky climbing around in a jungle of icy points! Tiny Leaves I liked this plant better. It had tiny leaves instead of spikes. But the ice was beginning to melt and things were getting slippery. Eerie View You can see the blurry image of a mountain behind me. It was foggy and gray and sort of spooky in Big Bend! More Spikes I decided to go for one more spike adventure before getting in the warm car. This one looked like a dangerous cucumber! The ice actually made it easier to climb around on the spike clusters. I wish I'd had a small toboggan to ride down some of these icy slopes!
This was one of my damper adventures.
