Little Bear's Adventures
Burlington, Vermont (Ms. Donkey Tells Little Bear) Little Bear, here is a special friend I met. She is the granddaughter of Beth's childhood friend. My new friend is very funny and smart and she has a good imagination. I know you're feeling sad that you got left in Texas and didn't get to meet her.
But guess what?

Shelburne Farm (Ms. Donkey tells Little Bear) I went to a very, very fancy farm in Vermont. Little Bear, you would have liked it. Adirondack Chairs! I know how many times you have posed on these kinds of chairs, Little Bear. These chairs were on a big lawn, with a beautiful building behind them. Looking Out to the Water While sitting on the back of the chair, I got a better idea. ROUND! I saw something round to balance on. I love round things. I posed, just for you! We'll have to come back here, sometime. Hopefully Beth will never forget you again, when she goes on a trip. I hope she never does. It's hard writing this blog for you!
Flowers at the Castle (Ms. Donkey tells Little Bear) Little Bear, I am posing in flowers for you. Since you aren't on this trip with us, I'm trying to do the things you usually do in your photos. I know you've been in a lot of photos with flowers! Vermont Castle Inn I was so busy climbing around in the bushes and flowers, that I almost didn't notice the celebration happening at the nearby table. Champagne Beth and her family were busy celebrating with champagne. They were so busy they forgot to invite me to join in. I didn't want to miss out on the fun, so I got myself over there. A Perfect Spot When no one was looking, I found a cozy place to sit a while. There was even a drop of champagne, within reach. But I didn't have a sip. It's no fun celebrating without you, Little Bear! I will make sure Beth doesn't accidentally leave you behind, when she travels next time.
