I love Hydrangeas! I never see them in Texas.
On a hot summer day, the cool flower petals made a very refreshing bed!
Sitting in the flowers, beneath that awesome sign, I started getting hungry. There were lots of people heading into Zehnders for fried chicken!
No chicken for me. Beth stuffed me into her camera bag, when a family approached. They asked if she would take their photo and I was forgotten.
But the family didn't get to sit in the Hydrangeas. Lucky me.
On our road trip in July, Don and Beth stopped at the Country Dairy. Beth drank some chocolate milk in the store and then we went out to look for cows.
At first, all we saw was green grass and white fences. Then the barn doors opened and black and white Holsteins began wandering down the hill!
I've posed on fences before, but never on a cow. I asked Beth and she said, "No. Those Holsteins are busy grazing."
A Different Cow
Me and My Holstein
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
