Little Bear's Adventures
Christmas Eve in Bangkok This is not a Christmas tree. But I'll always remember it as my Christmas Orchid. The photo was taken on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We had arrived at 2 am on Christmas Eve morning to the Temple's home in Bangkok. We slept a few hours and got up for a morning Thai Wedding Ceremony. You Won't See Me Here Nope, I didn't sneak into a photo. Beth didn't even think about me during this special ceremony between Scott and Chali. Orchid Farm By afternoon, we were all tired, but we kept going. We took a canal tour around the Temples neighborhood. We stopped at an orchid farm. Off Season There weren't too many orchids in December, but I found one to pose with. That cheered me up and gave me some energy till bedtime. I dreamed of Christmas and beautiful Thai flowers!

No Christmas Tree I usually pose with candy canes, cookies, Christmas trees and ornaments! But this year Beth and Don will be in Thailand on Christmas. "No tree." Beth said. But then she pulled out a strand of tiny Christmas lights and she let me have fun. Don't worry. They aren't hot. Homemade Ornaments Then Beth got sentimental about no tree and she made some ornaments real quick. She said that was easier than facing the stacked boxed of decorations in the upstairs closet. Me & Santa Then Beth put a chocolate Santa on the mantel. That's fun... but only until Beth eats it. Then Beth went to that closet. She went to the very closet she said she wouldn't go near and she got down another box. Me and Jesus It's a long story and Beth says I'm not supposed to share it on my blog. But she got out the old Nativity Scene... when she was supposed to be packing for Thailand. Is This Okay? She let me lay down next to Jesus and I asked her if that was really okay to do. I mean, some people might think that's making fun of Christmas or Jesus or something. She told me God was winking. I'm okay with that.
