Since my last blog entry, I talked with Beth.
She promised me she would get herself into the Christmas spirit. First she let me climb around in some ribbon candy!
Then she said she would bake one batch of cookies...only one. And she let me help with the icing. My paws work as well as an artist's brush!
Beth said she was too tired to put up that big old fake tree, so I was worried.
But on December 22nd, she and her family found this little unclaimed tree in a pretty empty garden shop.
Then they pulled down one small box of old homemade ornaments from years gone by.
Then they fumbled with some popcorn and paper chains...that never got very long. And they laughed a little at their "Charlie Brown" tree.
And then Beth put me right there in the tree next to some popcorn and an old ornament her mom made in 1963. I'm going to sit here all day long! I love Christmas!
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
