Little Bear's Adventure's
On Sunday, we had a picnic in a park in Llano. We were too late for the annual Llano Fiddle Fest, but the park was filled with lots of other fun things. Here I am sitting beside a door made out of sand.
Beth didn't have the nerve to reach over the rope near the Do Not Touch sign. She made her sister place me on the castle. Beth claimed she was a rule follower and she didn't want to fall and destroy the castle.
I say, Beth doesn't have a very good sense of adventure.
Maybe these two photos don't look very exciting, but after my sand castle adventure, I enjoyed some daring rock climbs!
I don't know who built this rock creation, but I was hoping it was made by a very smart builder. I climbed to the top and luckily it didn't collapse underneath my weight.
And here is another creation that could have toppled! But from my spot, on the tip-top rock on the right, I made my plan...
"If I feel the least bit of trembling beneath me, I will do a swan dive into the bluebonnets below!
That very thought put me at ease.
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
