Little Bear's Adventure's
Lots of Exploring Over Labor Day Weekend!
I took Rose out to the Texas Hill Country for a few days. She is from New York, so I stayed very close to her, in case she was suddenly spooked by a scorpion or a roadrunner or a fox.
It was at least 100 by the time we reached the top of this Prickly Pear cactus. Rose isn't used to this kind of heat, so I reminded her to take her time.
I forgot to remind Rose about the prickles on the Prickly Pear. You can see them on my stomach. When I was lost in New York, (before I was rescued) I lost a lot of fur during a few mishaps. I don't have much protection anymore.

Rose took one look at those prickles and she used those big teeth of hers to pull each one out. I tried to remind her that I've been through a lot of adventures, it wasn't that bad! But she just wrapped those big paws around me and she kept saying...
"There, there, there..."
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
