I will tell you about beaches.
Some have a lot of shells. This beach on the gulf has tons. But it's actually known for shark's teeth.
I didn't find even one tooth! Hunting for shark's teeth is even harder than finding me in this photo. But I'm in here.
Some have mossy rocks
But, I avoided the moss.
It's pretty slippery and I've had a lot of close calls lately.
At this beach on the Atlantic side, I can get a good grip on the rock. This beach is covered in big rounded coquina rock, which is a mixture of tiny shells and quartz. Not slippery...but very scratchy.
There are lots of holes to explore. See me?
And I'm climbing over the top of a rock here.
I like climbing coquina.
But sandy beaches are my favorite.
If you look carefully at my paws you'll be able to tell this photo was from a past beach visit. My paws don't look like this since I was run over by a car.
I still love sand, especially building things...
But this year when I visited Daytona Beach, I didn't build a castle. Cars drive on this beach. I like adventure, but I'm not taking any chances!!
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
