Little Bear's Adventures
Spring Cleaning Beth found a box in the garage with 591 bottle caps. She counted. I got to climb around while she pondered over getting rid of them. Most of the caps are over 30 years old, so they show dents from bottle openers. They're also pretty darn scraped up, because Beth used them with teaching years ago. A giant magnet used to pull up huge piles of the clunky things. My Favorite I am posing with my favorite. There are actually lots of beer bottle caps in this pile, too. Beth hid those so as not to offend anyone. Stacking Caps Beth kept messing with those bottle caps, so I kept climbing around. "I thought you were going to get rid of these?" I tried to keep her on task. Cap Games Beth said the magnet that picked up these caps years ago is long gone. She insisted there were still lots of important things you can do with caps. You can count them You can sort them You can stack them I reminded her that I can sit on them. Beth said she'd rather not. Cap Art I suggested we do something creative. We made a snake. Can you see me? Message I thought it would be fun to spell out words. But that takes a lot of space. We made a special heart message and I sat in the middle. Done Beth got tired and put the caps back in the box.
Do you think she got rid of them? Of course not.

"Counting Queen", I like that! Yes, Kate and I like to make designs with small things. I remember Kate and the Mah Jong tiles. Hey, that's a good idea for a photo shoot! :D
