Snow and Ice?  It finally melted, so I can get in a little climbing in before I leave this beautiful area! Looking the Wrong Way I'd like to turn around and enjoy the view...  But I'm scared I'll lose my balance. This view will have to do.

Lake Tahoe
It's October and I am in South Lake Tahoe, CA. You'd think I would be happy about that. Snow  Maybe you think I'm sad about the snow. It came our second day and that can make hiking pretty tricky. But no, that's not why I'm looking a little melancholy. Adirondack Chairs  It's the chair. These are very cool lodge style chairs that make people think of vacation and relaxation. But they remind me of the last time I posed on an Adirondack chair... Lake Placid, NY  Over a year ago I sat peacefully on the arm (left chair) of a nice wood chair, overlooking the peaceful water at sunrise. An hour later I slipped out of Beth's pocket. I spent a few weeks with a wonderful family who found me and returned me to Beth safely. (See Adirondack Adventures in Categories) All was well in the end, but an Adirondack chair will always make me a little thoughtful.
