Little Bear's Adventures
Another Country for my List! ![]() Here I am in a palm tree on the island of Cozumel. Another Palm But I've actually posed with palm trees in Texas, so that wasn't a new adventure. Posing with an Instrument ![]() Now this is a first! Not only did I pose on this giant instrument, but it was being played while I sat there! Good Vibrations! ![]() People talk about feeling the music! I felt every humming note as I sat next to those vibrating strings! I will remember this fine musician and his colorful music more than any of those palm trees!

A Day on the Island ![]() On April 10, our cruise ship stopped at Belize City. We escaped the cruise crowds to the small island of Caye Caulker, so I could do some relaxing. I Like the Shade ![]() Even for me this palm is a little small for shade. But the coconut provided a nice back rest as well as shade. (I have a feeling the coconut did not fall from that tree) Another source of shade... ![]() Most people never have a chance to climb inside a shell, but shells provide a very nice escape from the sun and heat. Smelly? ![]() It does smell a little fishy inside. But I was able to climb out a bit and feel the breeze. A Turtle I know a little more about the life of a turtle after spending some time in this shell.
I'm glad I was able to leave the shell behind. It makes me tired to imagine carrying that thing on my back. Just thinking about it makes me want a little nap. On Deck! I just got back from my first cruise! I was on board for 7 days, floating over the blue green Caribbean waters! So how come Beth only got me out of the camera bag once? And then she stuffed me between this blue cushion and wooden armrest! Relaxing? It was a lovely view. But I could have enjoyed a pina colada and a good book and maybe a comfier part of the chair. The Truth ![]() I must be honest. The reason I was stuffed into the side of the chair is that the winds were actually whipping like a hurricane! If Beth had put me in the center of the cushion I would have blown out to sea.
Now that would have been an adventure! |
