Bow Ties and Bluebonnets

Every spring, Texans get out there and pose their kids and pets in the roadside bluebonnets. It's just what they do. Don and I chose to celebrate spring with a festive hike up a bluebonnet covered hill, overlooking Lake LBJ.  We went all out and snapped on the bow ties we'd purchased at an antique store earlier. I think Ladybird would have been delighted. She started this whole TX wildflower beautification, after all!
