My Daughter Got Married
Heidi became a bride and a wife and Jamie became a husband and my son-in-law! It was a good month!
Friends of the Bride
My memories of March 2018, will focus mostly on 3 or 4 days. I loved spending time with some of Heidi's most special friends. I've known some of these girls since they were in preschool or when they were first teenagers. It was wonderful seeing the childhood friends and post college friends enjoying each other and later, pitching in to help on the big day.
The wedding weekend brought Heidi's aunts and uncles and cousins from 6 different states. I'm so glad to know there's one more wedding coming up in June, so we get to do this gathering thing again! (Yay, for Andy and Casey, top left)
Selfishly I got to steal a little time with a few of my dear friends.
Best of All... The Wedding
So March is done. No more wedding wondering. No more keeping fingers crossed for good weather. No more anticipation about what the memories will be. We know now and the memories are pretty perfect!
I started this blog, by thinking about the things that make me laugh and smile. My "Photo a Day" posting began on May 27, 2016. I had just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and I found I could keep things positive, by sharing some of my favorite photographs. Some were silly and made me laugh. Others were just pleasant or peaceful. After 7 months, I was ready to move on. I had finished chemo and radiation and it was time to focus on other things.
