Little Bear's Adventure's
Old Stuff I like holidays. I like getting into the boxes of decorations. But Beth only opened up one box today. These bells and lights are old. Where's the glitter and sparkle? Santas Then Beth got out some Santas. One Santa was kind of like me... fuzzy. Another Santa was also like me. He had been repaired. Look close at his broken face. Look at the top photo and you can see my bear paws, that have been repaired. I used to have pretty leather paws. Creepy I told Beth it was a little creepy, the way she tucked me into this collection of tattered and chipped decorations. She just reminded me that they are well loved. She said these things are way older than her. They are nearly 100 years old.
Hmmm? That makes me feel sort of new. I like that!

I've been lazy. I didn't pose for pictures, sitting on the jack-o-lantern. I didn't pose on Beth's plate of Thanksgiving food. Now Beth is ready to toss the gourds and pumpkins. She says she has to make way for Christmas decorations.
I told her, "Wait." I climbed up and sat a while and looked out the window at the rainstorm. Yep, I'm ready for some new decorations. A Red Onion Beth cut a big red onion in half. It was pretty stinky. Then she gave me my own little onion. Still pretty big, though. Beth said it was the size of a grape to her. It was the size of a beach ball, to me. I wanted to help. I asked Beth for a knife, so I could cut my onion. She said she didn't have a knife that was small enough.
So here I am, just posing with stuff, again. Oh well. Who is the President? Four years ago, I went to bed not knowing who our new president was. This year I have been extra worried. I gathered with some of my friends to watch the results. We are going to bed now. We still don't know!
Fingers crossed. |
