​I am Little Bear's friend. I am writing Little Bear's Blog, because he is trapped in Beth's camera case, back in Texas. 

Beth didn't realize she had left her camera at their lake cabin, until she was packing for the New York trip. I told Beth I could go along on the trip and she could use another camera. Little Bear had so hoped to pose for Beth when they went to Lake Placid. So I posed instead, just like Little Bear did many years ago... before he was lost.

The Sign on the Rock

This is an old photo. It was taken after Beth realized Little Bear wasn't in her pocket.

Beth left a "Lost" sign on the rock, before she left town. A family found Little Bear and then noticed the sign and they mailed him back to Texas. The story is really more complicated.

Little Bear, I hope you don't think I was having fun doing your posing for you. You can tell I'm not smiling, so please don't be jealous that I went on the trip that you were supposed to go on.

It wasn't a very pretty day in Lake Placid. It was kind of boring, sitting on the fire hydrant, like you did years ago. 

​But I guess I shouldn't complain, since Beth didn't lose me. There was no hole in her pocket, this time. ​
