It's August 21, 2017 the day of the Great American Eclipse! Don and Beth, along with their son and his dog drove all the way to Tennessee to be in the Path of Totality. They brought lots of stuff, but no glasses small enough for me.
I did get to participate in some of the fun, though. Before the moon totally covered the sun, Don took a colander and let the sun shine through.
When the moon covered the sun, I was finally able to look up. It was so dark, the crickets got confused! I loved eclipses!
My mom gave me this tiny bear over 25 years ago... because I like small things.
