Little Bear's Adventures

Trees! We visited Portugal and I climbed trees. There were many kinds of trees... and bark. I could look way down on Lisbon. Castelo de Sao Jorge I could turn around and look up the big castle. St. George Castle is high on a hill. Castles on hills are sort of creepy. I liked sitting safely, tucked into the tree bark. No tourists could step on me.

Bed of Straw? I look like I'm lounging on a soft bed of swirly straw. I'm really on a baby camel's head! Show Off In October, we visited Morocco and Beth showed off when she climbed on a camel. I told her that was easy. She was on the hump. I told her I wanted to ride on a camel's head. Scary I was shy and made Beth talk to the man with the baby camel. He didn't speak English but he smiled and seemed to understand. He was very careful when he placed me on the camel's fur. I was a little scared. Then I laid back a bit and watched the world. Thank you sweet camel. I love camels. ❤️
La Casina Dell'Orologio I love outdoor cafes in Rome. At this one (with the funny name) I sat on a brown leaf, on a cloth covered table. The cafe was in the beautiful Bourghese Gardens. Beth was in heaven as she sipped her cappuccino. She remembers having lunch here when she was a kid in 1969. It was spring in 1969, but it was fall of 2025, when we visited. A big sycamore leaf fell nearby and Beth picked it up and put me on it. The leaf was cool and crispy. I asked to sit on the saucer instead. The cup felt a little warm on my back. I liked that.
