Day 56 - Flamingos

There is something about the color and the curves, that just delights me!  Two years ago, I enjoyed some up close and personal time, with flamingos in Aruba.  We got to the island early and had about 8 birds, all to ourselves. From a distance their graceful poses and movements were soothing to watch.  Close up, I was giddy and somewhat terrified by their pecking beaks as they fought for the seed in my hand!

Observations:   Delicious, creamsicle color...  eerie eyes... a neck as long as the legs... the letter "S" in the neck... clever knees that bend backwards... smooth feathers that tempted me to pat... all their striking poses...  bold & stalking behavior by one particular flamingo!
